A full architectural design package comprises of:

Survey stage A measured survey of the proposed site, including existing buildings and any relevant site features
Preparation of survey drawings
Design Stage 1 Taking the clients instructions and design brief and preparing an outline proposal / preliminary design sketch
Design Stage 2 Consulting with the Client regarding the sketch design and any amendments that the Client requires
Planning Stage Preparation and submission of the official Planning Application, including plans, elevations, 3D visualisations if required and design statements etc
Building Regulation Stage Preparation and submission of the Building Control Application / Building Notice including all necessary drawings, forms etc required
Specification

Writing the Specification of Works comprising of detailed design information sufficient for the contractor to suitably price for the works.

Tender Stage Advice and recommendations on the selection of contractors suitable to undertake the works
Distribution of tender documents to contractors for pricing of the works. Analysing /comparing the priced tenders and making recommendations to the Client as to the suitability of tenders received
Construction Stage Preparing contract documents and acting as contract administrator throughout the completion of the works.
Regular site inspections to check upon completed work and ensure compliance with the specification
Advise the Client throughout the construction phase on the building progress
Issue any required instructions to the contractor.
Periodical valuations of construction works completed, assessing variation costings and issuing payment certificates as approhiate.
Inspection of the works when deemed to be complete
Post Contract Stage Inspection of the works at the end of the Defects Liability Period and instructing the contractor to correct any defects.
Issuing the final certification and associated payments
